This is my Aunt Lisa. This past Christmas, while she was in town from Virginia, we did a chilly photo session at Mellwood. Lisa has non-hodgkin’s lymphoma. She was diagnosed this past summer and just started her treatment this month. With the beginning of chemo she wanted to capture how she looked now, before she began to change. While I was snapping away, Lisa was meditating on her journey with cancer – and saying goodbye to her hair (notice the hats she has already picked out). It was an honor to be a part of her journey and preparation. She has such an amazing faith in God and has inspired me tremendously.
